Reset WinSyslog?

Postby jjmm_neo » Tue May 10, 2011 9:50 am

I have the following versions:

Service 11.0.502
Client 11.0.474

InterActive SyslogViewer Version

Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise 6.1.7600 Build 7600
SQL Server 2008 R2

I'm having stored the received messages into a SQL Server database.
Tables HelperFacilities, HelperPriorities, SystemEvents and SystemEventsProperties.

InterActive SyslogViewer 'Live Syslog View' is working fine.

How can I perform a reset?
I mean clean all the received logs until now.
Should I truncate all those tables?
Anything else?

Thanks in advance!

In order to clear all data, you can trunscate the SystemEvents and SystemEventsProperties table.
These are the two tables containing the whole data.
