Hello,

does anyone out here know how to allow remote desktop logins with xp pro without doing logoff current user.

Is there anyway we can do this like modifying domain policy or anything like.

Please help me

Hi,

you can simple disable the Remote login in your System properties (Right click My Computer->Properties). Go to the Remote tab and disable the "Allow Remote..." checkbox.

Multiple session on Windows xp

Hello,

I think you have not understand my question. What i want is multiple session in windows xp like one user is working on windows xp machine and if another user do login through remote desktop it will ask to logoff current user forcely so i am asking is there any way we can allow multiple session on windows xp like in windows 2000 and 2003 multiple session is allow. According to microsoft they didn't allow multiple session in windows xp if machine is in domain.
But i think there will be some way to do this. You people are expert so i think you can help me on this.
Your valuable guidelines would be great help for me.

ok I understand your question.
Well you know that the forced logoff by a user if another connects is a wanted behavior. If you do not want this, either update to Windows 2003 or switch to third party Software like those from Citrix:
http://www.citrix.com/lang/English/products.asp

Btw, the Windows Terminal Services are a reduced Version of Citrix ;)
