Hi,

it looks like that you have some DivX Version installed, that needs registration. Go to www.divx.com and download the Free version and overinstall over your current DivX Installation.

The error message should disappear then.

I had the same problem; the source of the problem was a virus. Download an anti-virus program, perform a scan, eliminate virus.

I've starting getting the 'Register your product' error since i downloaded a divx bundle from Kazaa. Uninstalling or deleting the Divx dir isnt doing any good. If this is a virus, could someone advise me how to get rid of it.
Thanks

Guys ;)

Get the free version of DivX (Not the Adware bundeld version) from www.divx.com and not from Peer2Peer networking.

The professional version is only usefull for better divx encoding
