file './config.php' NOT Writeable

Postby tcreek » Wed Nov 27, 2013 9:20 am

ERROR: At least one file or directory (or more) is not writeable, please check the file permissions (chmod 666)!

Version 3.6.5

Well since the last post still goes unresolved without answers, I decided to create a fresh CentOS 6.4 virtual machine to eliminate possible errors I may have done.

So in step 2 I get this error. The file config.php exists and the permissions are for sure set to 666 (-rw-rw-rw-. 1 apache apache 0 Nov 27 01:54 config.php) , but still I am getting this issue (yes, User and Group is set to apache in httpd.conf)

So what is up with this issue, and what seems to be a bug ridden loganalyzer?

Oh, I am not the only one to get this error. a friend of mine tried to install on CentOS also and got this same result.

This issue solved...SELinux needs to be disabled.

However issue posted before on November 23 still exists.
