LogAnalyzer + MsSQL

Postby dclick » Thu Aug 29, 2013 12:37 pm

Good day all -

I have been searching the forums (probably not good enough), and have not found much information on how, or even *IF* its possible to configure LogAnalyzer to connect to and read a Microsoft SQL database. I have rsyslog setup and configured to write to a local MySQL database on our ubuntu host, and LogAnalyzer setup to read that database could not have been easier.

However, I am now faced with the task of getting LogAnalyzer to read a Microsoft SQL database (generated from the solarwinds/Kiwi soft syslog server).

Can someone be kind enough to point me to a FAQ/Whitepaper or offer up some insite? I have not used Linux in many years, and im sure i am missing some needed package.

Thanks in advance.

Take a look to the install document, search for "If you choose Database (PDO), the following has to be defined:":
