maintenance.php not working as expected

Postby zadowsmash » Fri Feb 22, 2013 1:20 am

Hi MW Forum,
I have the following setup:

* Adiscon LogAnalyzer Version 3.6.2
* RHEL 6.3 x86_64
* mysql-server-5.1.66-2.el6_3.x86_64
*php-common-5.3.3-14.el6_3.x86_64
php-pdo-5.3.3-14.el6_3.x86_64
php-mysql-5.3.3-14.el6_3.x86_64
php-cli-5.3.3-14.el6_3.x86_64
php-gd-5.3.3-14.el6_3.x86_64
php-5.3.3-14.el6_3.x86_64

I only wish to keep 2 weeks worth of syslog entries in the mysql database.

When I run the following command manually it does not purge any records.

php ./maintenance.php cleardata 1 olderthan 1209600

It just gives the following output almost instantly and doesn't appear to do anything:

Num. Facility . Debug Message

I also have it scheduled via cron but as it is the same command I am using it does nothing also.

Contents of script run by cron is below:

#!/bin/bash
cd /var/www/html/cron
php ./maintenance.php cleardata 1 olderthan 1209600

Please let me know if more information is needed.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
