Login Problem with LogAnalyzer

Postby chrislee123 » Mon Nov 07, 2011 6:59 pm

Hi, Everybody.

I has face a strange problem of LogAnalyzer login.

My Env is windows 2003 R2 32bit sp2(Chinese Traditional) + Mysql 5.5.17 win32(charset : lanti1, lanti_swedish_ci) + IIS 6(FastCGI) + PHP 5.3.8(installed using web platform installer 3.0)

there is no error during My installation with login need mode is enabled and i also success of user creation.

but in the end, I can not login with the user i create during the installation.

And I check the table "logcon_users" in my LogAnalyzer database.... there is no record in that table...

any idea why this happend ?

thanks.

and today i try to followed this install guide with iis7 + windows 2008 64bit(vmware virtual manchine) + mysql-5.5.17-winx64, and then the same. can not login, user table is no record.

maybe is some wrong with php script encode & database charset ?

If therre is no record in the user table, I would say something went wrong during installation. A typical problem is when the IIS Server does not has write access to the temp folder which is configured in your php.ini. PHP is not able to use Sessions then, which are mandatory for the UserDB System LogAnalyzer.

So I would recommend to check the php setup along with your IIS.

Hi, alorbach

I have already check that php can success to write session.
and still no error in php-error.log during the installation.(error_reporting = E_ALL in php.ini)
but only 1 notice : PHP Notice: Undefined index: HeaderDefaultEncoding in C:\logconf\include\functions_common.php on line 1144

and still......no record in the logcon_users table.... I really have no clue in this .... it's really Depression to me.

Hi,

you can manually add the entry into the users table by running this command in phpmyadmin (required):
Code: Select all
INSERT INTO `logcon_users` (`ID`, `username`, `password`, `is_admin`, `is_readonly`) VALUES (1, 'admin', '1a1dc91c907325c69271ddf0c944bc72', 1, 0);

This will create a user "admin" with password "pass" (without quotes). Maybe you can login then.

hi, alorbach

I finally know what hell wrong about all this crazy error!

the reason LogAnalyzer did not add first user successful during the installtion is that field "last_login" in table "logcon_users" is not allow null....
so your user insert sql statement will not excute in success.

and I don't know why this happend...maybe the version of mysql ? (i use mysql 5.5.15 community win32bit)

Ok my bad, thought the field had default 0, use this:

Code: Select all
INSERT INTO `logcon_users` (`ID`, `username`, `password`, `is_admin`, `is_readonly`, `last_login`) VALUES (1, 'admin', '1a1dc91c907325c69271ddf0c944bc72', 1, 0, 0);
