Issue with MYSQL?

Postby bbroge » Thu Apr 24, 2014 8:19 pm

Hi all,

My SQL server crashed and I basically had to re-install and restore from backups. I can see all my previous logs and entries in log analyzer web site now but no new logs are being logged. Is there something as far as permissions I can check? Is there a way to force log analyzer to run through initial setup to check permissions, etc?

Thanks.

Hey I found that syslog is still working as new entries are popping up in /var/log/syslog/ however why wouldn't LogAnalyzer be picking these up anymore?

You should check your rsyslog database in mysql, they are properly corrupted and need to be fixed.

best regards,
