Postby alorbach » Tue May 19, 2009 9:56 am

Hi,

The Rolling Beta program is again open, features and bugfixes will be added continuously. The changelog below helps you to keep track on the changes.
Feel free to test this new rolling beta version, if you are experiencing any problems, kindly let us know via support email (support@adiscon.com) or this forum.

A note on Win32 and x64 Edition
EventReporter is available for both platforms. Since Build 287, bot Editions are unified in one Setup file, this includes the win32 platform and the x64 platform. If you had win32 installed before, your installation will be upgraded to x64 automatically without loss of any configurations.

Below the change since version 10.1:

- The Client will automatically load available Eventlogtypes during the first startup, this is related to the EventLog Monitor V1.
- Tested and fully working on Windows 7 RC Build 7100
- Added support for sending Syslog RFC5424 messages.
- Added support to choose between RFC3164, RFC5424 and a custom defined Syslog header in the Forward Syslog Action.
- Implemented new property replacer options "date-rfc3339" and "date-rfc3164" which can be used to get diffirent date formats.
- Added new syslog properties: %syslogprifac%, %syslogver%, %syslogappname%, %syslogprocid%, %syslogmsgid%, %syslogstructdata%

 Bugfixes
- Added bew Syslog properties into the configuration Client.
- Removed logging of registry write / read error's in EventLog Monitor V2. This avoids unnecessary output in the debug log.
- Fixed an issue with the date header in SendEmail Action. Some mail readers could understand the date format wrong. We are now using UTC in the mail header, to avoid this problem.
- Configuration Client, added support to overwrite Advanced Options at once in the EventLog Monitor V2.
- Hardened DNSCache against race conditations.
