Dcom errors on BDC server

Postby farmtech » Wed Sep 27, 2006 8:16 pm

I am hoping someone can give me some insight here. i have a BDC server that has nothing but Dcom errors in the system log. these errors are with every computer on the network that i can see.. This started before i came to work here so i am a little lost as to what might be the cause. The event id 10009, always the same. but it changes computers that its having the issue with. the log is completely full and i just dumped it two days ago.. I have searched and searched for a possible answer but had no luck.. I really hope someone can help me out here.

i ran ethereal on this server and i found that i am getting incorrect checksums on the tcp. this is the error i receive..

Transmission control protocol, src port: microsoft-ds (445), dst port: 3660, seq:1983, ack:7037, len: 139

Checksum: 0x493f [incorrect, should be 0x8c8b]

hopefully this will help..
