hi, I'm a very new beginer in win2003

My question is: how I can configure my server to act as a NAT router

I have 2 network cards installed. 1 is connected to internet throu a modem and the other is connected to a LAN network

... and how can I make that each computer conected to network take the IP automaticaly

the interesting Service for you is "RRAS" which are available in Windows 2003. You will find a styp by styp guide to configure it here:

You can install Network Address Translation module and configure the Network Interface card one for internal address and other for external .

To server the IPs automatically to the client systems you have to install DHCP Dynamic host configuration protocol . You have to assign a pool of IPs.

Find in the windows 2003 help for further guidance.
