I just wanted to tell you that MonitorWare Agent 1.1 and 1.2 can coexist. However, when upgrading a large installation, you should make sure that those agents configured as SETP servers are upgraded before their SETP clients. It will also work the other way around, but you will lose some functionality at the SETP server side because 1.2 functionality is obviously not present in 1.1 agents.

On a related issue, 1.2 brings with it a slightly modified database schema, just some fields added. These fields are primarily for use by the upcoming MonitorWare Console, but it is a good idea to add them to your tables.

We are currently evaluating options to automate schema changes to existing databases the next time the schema changes (this will be the case with 2.0).
