I've installed RHEL6 using RPMs for PHP (v 5.3.2), MySQL (v 5.1.47) and Rsyslog (v 4.6.2). I manually loaded the Syslog database and the SystemEvents table from a sql script that was provided with the source version of rsyslog. I proceeded through the install.php web page. I clicked finish and received the following error: "Could not find the configured database". I can see the database in mysql, but still receive the error message.
If I am using the RPMs noted above does it create a different method for installation? Do I have pieces missing? Any help would be appreciated.
Side note. The RHEL 6 is working well. I haven't experienced any issue with the installation.
