LDAP support?

Postby mediastream » Wed Nov 04, 2009 4:07 am

Is there support for LDAP authentication to view logs in phplogcon? I need to not have anonymous user access and authenticate users via LDAP. I could not find a way to do this, unless I missed something. Is this supported? If not, is it planned for a future release?

Thanks!

phpLogCon professional services

  • Custom phpLogCon configuration?
  • Maintenance Contract?
  • Installation support?

Did you try Apache LDAP authentication feature? http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/mod/mod_auth_ldap.html

Is there any way to let apache simply handle the authentication, but still leave the user profile data in mysql based on the authenticated user? That would really help me out a lot.

It is not yet possible to use Apache authed users in phpLogCon/LogAnalyzer, but properly will be at some point in the next v3 version branch.
