Postby Janet James » Wed Feb 11, 2004 2:44 pm

Hi,

I am getting the following error on trying to creating the new attribute in the AD schema.

"the role owner attribute could not be read"

Could somebody tell me, what can be the possible reason?

Thanks and regards,
JJ.

I am having the same issue and I tried recreating the dns zone on the root server with no effect. I can not install a child domain because of it.
Any thoughts?

Try reinstalling the service pack. I had to reinstall service pack 4 to get it to work
