The feature I'd like to ask about is the ability to pipe messages to a continously running program.
Is rsyslog going to support this feature in the near future? If so, when? And if not, why?

• Maintenance Contract?

I think we will be going to (fully) support that some time in the future. I can't give a specific date. Why not? It depends on priorities (e.g. paid custom development, important bugs, more often requested features).
