hi all

I have configured Windows 2000 server as PDC and i tried to connect windows NT 4 as BDC. when i connect BDC to network and checked event viewer, i fund 1 warining.

warning is "The browser has received a server announcement indicating that the computer is a master browser, but this computer is not a master browser. "

how can reslove this.

Hi,

as far as I know, this is not really a problem. I have seen this many times in teh eventlog, it just tells you that another computer is overtaking the job of the Master computer browser. This is a just a service for the Windows file networking.
