I have a stand-alone Java server application accessing Active Directory through JNDI. Occasionally, the application is throwing a "Timeout" exception when accessing the directory. The Directory Service log in Event Viewer shows numerous occurrences of error 8355 "Failed to create name for deleted object". Does anyone know what might be causing Active Directory to throw this error?
