Hi,

my Windows event logs get overwritten very quickly. I know that I can increase their size, but don't find how to do this . Any advise?

Open Eventlog Viewer. Right the Eventlog (for exampel application) and select Properties.
There is a field Maximum log size, set it to a larger value, for example 4096 (Which means 4 Megs). Do the same with the other log types.
