A few questions.

Do I have to purchase a license to use the beta version beyond 30 days?

Is the beta version mentioned above the first release with the filter options that uses the operators (i.e.. AND, OR, XOR, etc)?

Where can I find documentation with details on how to use the operators (i.e. AND, OR, XOR, etc)?

I will answer each of your qeustion below:

Do I have to purchase a license to use the beta version beyond 30 days?

You can purchase 4.2 now with UpgradeInsurance which will bring 5.x to you as soon as the final is released. That way, you will receives the 4.2 pricing which may be less than 5.x pricing.

Yes, the new version of WinSyslog has a very powerful filter engine and you can apply all the operators that you have mentioned in your question plus others as well.

Where can I find documentation with details on how to use the operators (i.e. AND, OR, XOR, etc)?

You can have an idea about how to apply complex filters on the following link:

The reason I ask, is because the 4.x release can perform the filtering that I need done but the beta version can. I would like to continue to use the beta version if I can get pass the 30 day eval issue. I you have a beta program I would **** to be apart of it.

Hello,

A fresh install which will not expire before the final is released. So if you have purchased 4.x with an upgrade insurance, you will get the key for the new version.
