colon in searched expression

Postby pinam on Tue May 13, 2008 12:34 am

When I try to filter message that contains colon (for example mac address 00:11:aa:bb:22:22), searching does not work. Is there any way how to filter such messages?

I have already tried to put backslash before the colon, in vain, the same with some apostrophes.

Hi again,

I want to inform you that the bug has been fixed in the beta branch now (Version 2.1.6) which is available for download now:
http://www.phplogcon.org/downloads

If you are using the devel branch (Version 2.3.1), please wait till tomorrow. We will create an update for the devel branch tomorrow.

Regarding the bug, as we use ":" the split between filter fields and values, you have to use \: in order to filter for a colon.

best regards,
