I have an ia64 machine at work where I could test rsyslog. As nobody is using that machine ATM, it's an easy thing to do. Please let me know if i should test anything particular.

Hi Rainer...
I'm not using the newest version of rsyslogd right now... I'm still on 1.13
And If I'm not mistake, I downloaded it from this site (or link from another site >.<)

I'll try the newest version soon, and give you the report, wish this error can be solved with that version :)
Code: Select all
undefined references to `?1__serial_memmove' follow

Hi Rainer...
I already download 1.20.0 but when I ./configure
it said that MySQL support is not enabled yet. though I have this package installed on my machine:
MySQL-client-community-5.0.45-0.rhel4
MySQL-server-community-5.0.45-0.rhel4
MySQL-devel-community-5.0.45-0.rhel4

Will it be related with the error from my previous compiled?
=> undefined references to `?1__serial_memmove' follow

Thanks,
Andre

Hi Su5r,

have you tried to compile rsyslog in your ia64 box? I've searched over the internet, and I think the same problem happened with the other on ia64 machine too. If you have successfully compiled it, would you please tell me which package of mysql is installed in your box?

Thanks in advance,
Andre
