Hi all,
I'm trying to use template a template to send all syslogtag, starting with a string to a database I created.

:syslogtag, startswith,"MSWin" >X.X.X.X,DBname,user, ;test <--- name of my template.

pls advice.

• Custom written rsyslog.conf?
• Maintenance Contract?
• Installation support?

Null passwords should work, at least they have in lab. Please run rsyslogd interactively in debug mode (-d -n) and post its output.

actually the syntax I provided is correct, while I had other concoctions on my conf file =P
null password does work

If I get you right, this is solved now?
