I'd like to add users to phpLogCon but can't find a way to do it without directly modifying the MySQL table.
we have not scheduled this task yet. Maybe we will integrate this if we have to fix other parts of phplogcon. But to be honest - and as already written - modifying phplogcon is currently not planned.

Yeah, I just created the users I needed to directly in the database.
Considering the distribution of rsyslog is much wider these days (and will only increase over time) I believe enhancements to phpLogCon (or another tool which can do what phpLogCon does) will eventually need to be made, whether that be by the current developers of phpLogCon or patches / enhancements contributed by others.
At the moment the people that use phpLogCon on my environment complain that it's slow to read entries and difficult to filter for values. It's all that's out there so they live with it, but over time I would hope improvements can be made.
Michael.
