just to clarify. You can monitor each syslog source with phplogcon.
phpLogCon is a web interface to syslog and other network event data.

Typically phplogcon works together with rsyslog (
http://www.rsyslog.com/) in a linux environments. rsyslog is a syslog daemon capture all syslog and stored it in a mysql database. phplogcon reads out these stored syslog from database for display purposes.
