Installation Problem

Postby cblank on Wed Dec 07, 2005 3:45 pm

I'm using phplogcon-1.2.1, MySQL-5.0.16, rsyslog-1.21.1 and php-5.1.1 and I'm having a problem getting phplogcon to install.

It gets to the point of 'Creating required tables... ' and stops. I was able to manually create the tables in MySQL. How can I finish the install manually or get past this problem?

Hello, I never had an error like this during the installation process but if you've allready created the tables manually now in mysql, just do the following to end the installation:

go to the config.php and change the database connection settings and username/password, save the config.
rename or delete the "install" directory, you are done.

If you want to create a user within phpLogCon, please try to restart the installation script, cause the tables are allready present now. Otherwise you are done with the above steps.
