I support a small organization that does *not* need super strict password requirements. My question is likely common and I'm guessing a simple solution is available.
Here it is:
They have asked me to modify (reduce) the password complexity to require at least 5 characters in length and a Base-10 digits (0-9) -OR- Non-alphanumeric (for example, !, $, #, %). Not both. Notice the -OR-. So for example, p@ssword would be legit, as would password!
With the Complexity enabled, it requires much more than that (Caps, number, and non-alpha) and users just end up forgeting their passwords. This is a small non-profit. We want to mave some complexity, but not the stringent default settings.
So right now, it's either totally disabled or enabled (with default requirements) and we need something in between.
Simple, right? There are no programmers, developers, or Senior Admins here so we just simply need to know how change this setting.
Thanks in advance!
