I cannot tell if this is a syslog server issue or a MWAgent issue but thought I would ask.

I am trying to get a prn file (print to file) into syslog in real time.

I have configured a file monitor and have it sending to the syslog but there seems to be an issue with some line separators recognized and others ignored. I end up with several entries wrapped into one line

Here are a few lines from the prn file.

When they wrap in the syslog, it looks like this

Is there something I can set in the separator to fix this issue?

BTW these are fixed width log entries. That is why spaces are missing at times.

I would appreciate if you could send us the PRN file so that we can try it in our lab. I guess the issue is related to inconsistent control characters in the PRN file.
