I am trying to log info from my Pix Firewall. I set my pix to Warnings only. When I run the Interactive Syslog, I get a a couple of messages every 10 - 20 seconds. When I turn on my syslog service, the log file grows a couple megabytes every few seconds. It looks as though the same message is in the log file numerous times. For instance I sent a test message to my syslog server and there were about 50 entries for the one test message I sent.

Hello Baiju,

Please can you do the following:

1. Go to Computer Menu -> Export Settings to Registry-file
2. Save it
3. Go to General Options -> Enable Debug Output (check all checkboxes!)
4. Restart the service
5. Rerun your test with the test messages, then disable the debug output
6. Zip this file and the Registry-file
7. Forward us the zip file via email to support@adiscon.com
