Converting ODBC data source to SYSLOG?

I don't know if this is the proper place for a question like this, but it's worth a try.

Does anyone know of a method to get data from an ODBC compliant data store into syslog format so it could be forwarded to another syslog server? I have done some searching and cannot find anything but I imagine it has got to be being done by someone out there.

ODBC driver to write to syslog?

I think I am looking for something similar. Looking for a ODBC driver that will basically write information as a syslogd message, or perhaps a SNMP trap. Yeah!!!!!
