I have a different problem than previously noted, and it started about the first of the year . . .

When I start up my computer (running Windows XP), the Scanner and Camera Wizard automatically starts . . . . I click on Cancel and it goes away then reappears, I cannot get it to just quit and stay quit. I have taken to dragging it down to the lower bar and then minimizing the window, but it flashes on the bottom menu. How do I make this just close and go away?????

try disabling the device in the device manager

mycomputer->rightclick->properties->hardware->devicemanager->

you will see a yellow colored ? or an unknown devivce

rightclick->properties->click on disable in this hardware.click on ok
you will not get it again
