I'm a new user just coming up to speed with the software. One thing I haven't been able to figure out is how to move (or copy) an action to another filter and/or to another ruleset.

I could obviously just recreate the action but that quickly becomes tedious as I "play around" with software trying to determine the best way to process the messages.

Additionally, once I get a complex action "perfected", is there a way to copy it to the default action?

Am I missing something obvious?

Hi,

currently Actions can only be copied and removed, so if you want to move an Action to another RuleSet or Rule, you will need to copy, paste and remove the old one.

You can copy & paste be right clicking the action.
Drag and drop is currently not supported (Only in the Filter editor).

The Idea to make the parameters of an existing Action to the default ones sounds interesting. It's not possible yet unfortunatelly.

When right clicking an action, I do not see an option to copy or paste - just clone. And clone only creates a copy within the same rule.

I am using:
Agent v. 2.1.224
Client v. 2.1.528

Is copy/paste a new feature in v. 2.2 (I didn't see it in the version history) or do I have other problems?

yes it's a new feature which is available since MWAgent 2.2.
So best is you kindly update your installation with the current setup (Just download from www.mwagent.com/en/download/ )
Your configuration will remain intact.
