EventID 15, Problems with AppleTalk...

Postby someone » Wed Oct 13, 2004 10:15 am

Event Viewer shows:
"No adapter is configured to be the default adapter.Appletalk was not initialized on any adapter.Services over AppleTalk e.g. Print Server, File Server etc. will not be functional unless a default adapter is specified."

How can I solve this problem? Please, help me!

Open the Properties of the adapter you want to configure for Appletalk
(Right-click My Network Places icon --> Properties, right-click network
connection --> Properties). In the list of clients and protocols you'll see
the Appletalk protocol. Check mark this to enable it for this adapter.

You'll see the Appletalk protocol appear in all adapters, but it can only be
used by one at a time unless you are using your server as a router to route
Appletalk between two different networks.

Hope this helps!
