The trust relationship...blah...blah...

Postby PolarBear on Sun Mar 16, 2003 7:05 am

Network = 1 W2K PDC, 1 W2K BDC, 2 XP PRO

When trying to browse shared files on one of the XP boxes from any other computer on the network, I get "Not Accessible - The trust relationship between this workstation and the primary domain has failed." When going the other way around, accessing files on the PDC/BDC from the XP box, I have no problems. I have tried removing the XP box from the domain, and adding it back to the domain, but it didn't help. Any ideas? Thanks!

Does the user logged on the XP machine has access rights to the shares on the other machines?

What you also can try is to remove the WinXP machine from the domain. Then delete the computer account from the domain (It will be still there).
And then add the XP machine to the domain again.
