We have been using simplemail for years at our company. There is now a requirement that bounced emails are returned to administrators, not to the sender. The w3.org RFC states the Return-Path email header is for this purpose.
When I work with simplemail, though, I notice that using the CustomHeaders method, the Return-Path header is placed BELOW all other headers. The RFC states that this should be the FIRST header. This causes the Return-Path header to fail to be used by many email systems.
I would like to use simplemail and also use the Return-Path header.
Your advice is much appreciated,
Louis Nelson
