I download the eventreport 6.3 Sp1 and installed it in my Win2K Professional, when I run the eventreport after installation, a pop-up windwos reporting as error with the following message:

FATAL Error opening the EventReporter Language file.
32797
Application-defined or object defined error


When I also install monilog on the same machine, the problem solved, but I don't need to install monilog client on this machine.

thanks for this information. Can you tell me which ServicePack you have installed on this machine? This will help me finding the problem.

Have you also tried uninstalling Monilog and using the repait function of EventReporter Setup?

My testing PC is Chinese win2K professional with Service pack 4, it seems not worked if the PC haven't monilog client.

I have re-intalled eventreporter with Repair Function, and it does not solve the problem.

Hi,

just redownlowd the latest EventReporter setup and install it over your existing installation. The new client will automatically check and repair such error's.
