printing <b></b> in the mail body

Postby George on Wed Jun 23, 2004 9:56 pm

I am trying to print some html formatted text using Simple Mail v2.XX

I am trying to set the MessageText of the mail object = "text..text.. <b> BOLD TEXT </b> "

when i see the mail that i get .. i can see the <b> and the </b> ...and the source text of the page has the &lt; and the &gt; in that..
has simple mail converted my chars to those symbols in my message text??

could u tell me how to print just a <b> and a </b> in the final text of the mail.. so that the browser interprets it as HTML code and shows the text in between in bold ??

thanks
bye
George

Dear George,

SimpleMail support HTML mails since version 3. The current verion is 3.1 SP3, downloadable at
http://www.simplemail.adiscon.com/en/Download/index.php

With the new version use the MessageHTMLText property instead of MessageText. Also important is to use ProcessingMode 2. For more information check the manual (also available online http://www.simplemail.adiscon.com/en/Manual/manual.htm ).

Best regards,
