Hi,

I have set up some rules to alert the admin by e-mail. Those messages are forwarded to my e-mail box. Message like security event or system event are in correct form on e-mail messages.
But there is my problem :
i have set up some counters on the memory usage of some system. I want to be alerted when this counter are reached (example: i test if the memory usage is not more than 90% every minute, and i have configured the agent to be alerted if i get the message appear more than fifty times during one hour).
The alert is working, but in my e-mail message the main message i received this one : "I am still running" instead of the alert message "memory usage has reached the ...".

Could you help me to understand what is going on ??

This is a typical Heartbeat message. Have you configured a Hearttbeat service?

Yes, i have an heartbeat running !
But, why is it in this message instead of the main message ?
The heartbeat is only used every 3 hours. And I receive this messages when the memory counter is reached.

This sounds strange.

Get you an error from MonitorWare Agent in your Eventlog? Which version of MonitorWare Agent are you using?

For better assistance, please send us your configuration to support@adiscon.com To do so:

1. Go to Computer Menu -> Export Settings to Registry-file (not binary!)
2. Save it
3. Go to General Options -> Enable Debug Output (set it to maximum)
4. Let it run for some time, then disable the debug output
5. Forward this file also with the Registry-file to us

I'm running the 2.1 version of Monitorware agent.
I have no error message in the event log.
I have send the config files and the debug files to helpdesk, i have open a new ticket.

FYI: The problem is solved. It was a typing issue. All filter condition are case sensitiv.
