As stated, I would like to grant a user access to modify eventreporter parameters on windows servers w/o granting him admin rights. We are running Eventreporter version 5.4.165, client version 5.4.90. Can this be done w/o extensive rights modifications? thank you

We use remote registry services to create this functionality. Though your request is very reasonable, we never had it before. Right now I doubt it is easily doable, but we will set up a lab and verify. Please bear a little with us, I assume it will be monday until we have a good reply.

After I posted I was thinking of allowing access to the service within AD group policy, but I don't know if that will cover everything as you said. Although, stop me if I'm wrong, but most of eventreporters application data appears to be in the service registry key, so that may be promising. Thank you for your efforts.

FYI: All configuration data is in the LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Adiscon key.
