Restrict access to authenticated users

Postby softec » Tue Apr 28, 2009 12:56 pm

Hi,
I am trying to permit the access to phpLogCon only to authenitcated users. Currently I have a only a Mysql source and I cannot figure out how to allow for example a given user to access only one view (f.e. filter=syslogtag:=www.virtualhost.it). I want guest users to be allowed to see nothing.

Is such a configuration feasible in phpLogCon?

Thanks in advance.

phpLogCon professional services

  • Custom phpLogCon configuration?
  • Maintenance Contract?
  • Installation support?

I guess you are using the usersystem of phpLogCon, if you I would recommend to install it. This can also be done on existing installations, for more see here: http://wiki.rsyslog.com/index.php/How_t ... llation%3F

Setting "$CFG['UserDBLoginRequired'] = true;" in your config.php will require a valid login when you try to access phpLogCon.
