Perflib event in Application Log

Postby mschlawin » Tue Sep 23, 2003 8:51 pm

Does anyone know what's causing the Perflib event in the Application Log?

Windows 2000 server, SP3.

The Collect Procedure for the "Tcpip" service in DLL "C:\WINNT\system32\Perfctrs.dll" generated an exception or returned an invalid status. Performance data returned by counter DLL will be not be returned in Perf Data Block. Exception or status code returned is data DWORD 0.

THANKS!

Perflib errors in Event Viewer

mschlawin - sorry can't add any assistance but as this was registered some time ago I was wondering if you had managed to find a solution. We have just taken on support of a system with the same problem. It was upgraded from NT4 to Win2000 when we took it on.
