After a new install of EventReporter, upon startup, I receive an error:

FATAL Error because XML Translator or MS XMLParser not installed.
429
ActiveX component can't create object.

Has anyone seen this error before, and know what the resolution is?

Hi,

could you tell me which Version of Windows you are running?
The reason of this error usually happens, if the Microsoft XML parser 3 could not be installed.

Please try to install the XML Parser manually by download the setup from Microsoft here.

Windows 200 Server - Standard Edition.

Your troubleshoot was right-on, the URL was excellent. After installing XML Parser (which was painless), EventReporter started fine.
