A note on Win32 and x64 Edition
EventReporter is available for both platforms. Since Build 287, bot Editions are unified in one Setup file, this includes the win32 platform and the x64 platform. If you had win32 installed before, your installation will be upgraded to x64 automatically without loss of any configurations.
Below the change since version 10.0:
- Enhanced support for encoding syslog messages using UTF8, EUC-JP or JIS(ISO-2022JP).
- Fixed missing bytes in Forward Syslog Action when UTF8 Encoding was enabled.
- Fixed a bug in the DNSCache, due a wrong if condition, the dnscache was always used, even if disabled.
- Implemented Backup Syslogserver target in the Forward Syslog Action. The backup server is automatically used if the connection to the primary server fails. The main server is automatically retried when the next syslog session is opened.
- Enhanced UTF8 Encoding support in Forward Syslog Action. The Syslog Server needs to be able to detect UTF8 headers.
- Fixed the %cageroy% and $catname% property in EventLog Monitor V2.
- Fixed a bug when comparing Checksum during startup of EventLog Monitor V1. This bug only applied if the advanced option "Always search for the last processed Event using the Checksum" was enabled.
