Hi,

I was thinking that it would be nice to have the possibility to whitelist certain characters in the $EscapeControlCharactersOnReceive directive.
In my case I would like to still be able to have TAB, CR and LF for better readability.

Anybody else that would find this useful?

• Custom written rsyslog.conf?
• Maintenance Contract?
• Installation support?
