Property replacer field extraction

This is the place for you, if you got rsyslog up and running but wonder how to make it do what you want.

That seems to be working now, thanks. It was confusing because touching msg.c didn't seem to cause enough of a rebuild. I was hunting around and touched template.c, and then the code started working after a build. I don't see a way to test if it handles low-precision timestamps correctly because they don't ever seem to be generated in the version.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Elizabeth,

glad it works. To test low-precision timestamps, you need to use a dowlevel sender. This may even be rsyslog with a traditional template. Please note that rsyslog, upon recepetion, converts both high and low precision timestamps into a single structure. So, in theory, any other part of rsyslog but the parser should not see any difference ;)
