Local DNS Cannot resolve website begins with WWW

Postby Shamsan on Sat Jun 07, 2003 1:11 pm

I have two local DNS servers on LAN with Active Directory installed this is on LAN network and I have the other or main DNS server that talks to the ISP DNS servers on DMZ that holds the records of my website (http://www.XXX.gov) and mailserver (http://mail.XXX.gov)

The internal users are pointing to my local DNS servers and they are NOT able to connect to my web site on DMZ using the WWW but they can use http://XXX.gov instead and they are NOT able at all to connect to the mail server.

I have checked my primary DNS server and found the following:
1. It is NOT a ROOT DNS Server (no dot) in forward looking zones
2. I have configured the forwarders to the internet

* Internal users can connect to any web site using the WWW except my website

:?: What should I do ?

Thanks N advance...
