phplogcon install error on step 4....

Postby askorp » Thu Sep 11, 2008 6:15 am

Hi all,

I am trying to install phplogcon (latest vers.) so i can view the rsyslog log files stored in mysql database.
So i copy phplogcon files in /var/www/phplogcon and run the installer.
On step 4 i get the following mesage...
"Notice undefined index: UserDBEnabled in /var/www/phplogcon/src/install.php line 319. Waring cannot modify header information-headers already sent by in /var/www/phplogcon/src/install.php on line 655"
My programing skills are poor so i can;t really see what's the problem. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Aris

Hi,

which version of phpLogCon are you trying to install?
There seems to be a minor issue, usage of an uninitalized variable. If you would turn "error_reporting" in your php.ini from E_ALL to just E_ERROR, this notice message would dissappear.

Then you should be able to install it for now.

Very well, I had the feeling it was one of those minor bugs in the installer, fixed in the past :)
