installed free winsyslog 4.2 on a W2k SP3 french version, created rules et server...but the service (4.2.316) never start (i've tried by the winsyslog client and also by the mmc)
i don't see where i'm wrong.

do you get an error code when you try to start it?
Are there any error messages in teh Application Eventlog from WinSyslog?
