Hi,

as MWAgent is continuously developed, we decided to start a so called Rolling beta program. Whenever we will add new features into MWAgent, this Rolling beta setup will be updated.

Registered users can use their current license with the rolling beta Versions. Feel free to test this new rolling beta versions as we add partially features on demand. If you are experiencing any problems, kindly let us know via email support or this forum.

- Bug fixed: Problems with files larger then 4 GB in the Filelogging Action. When you restarted the MWAgent, those files were overwritten from the beginning.
- Bug fixed: The Database Action (And maybe others as well) could fail with an unknown error (EventID 114) when the SETP Server received messages from older Clients (Version 1.3 and lower). This has been corrected now.
- Bug fixed: The password in the database action view was not saved if encryption was not enabled.
- Added two new filters for the Eventview in the "Online Syslog Viewer" which is installed by default.

- Added new Option into the File Action Logging: Enable Property replacements in Filename. By activating this option, you can use properties within the file or pathname like %Source% and all the others.
- File Action and Debug logging - If configured directories are missing, they will be automatically created now.
- MWAgent Client - Added new Skinning feature into the Client. By default 5 new fresh skins are installed and can be selected . Additional you can set Hue and saturation and color options for each skin.
- Fixed a memory leak in the MWAgent Client. There is a background function that frequently checks the status of the MWAgent Service. This function with leaking memory which each check.

- Added new Filter variable: Event Category name. This value contains the Category value as string if it can be resolved. Otherwise it will contain the category number.
- Added more debug output for SSL based Connections.
- MWAgent Client - Added new Insert Menu entry: Replace with Monilog Format. Use this function to obtain the correct message format in the current selected text field. - MWAgent Client - Removed update button in the Filter Editor. This means updates are now done automatically when you modify a filter.

- Added new Option into the Database Action: Enable Detail Property Logging. If this option is enabled, additional detail data will be logged into the SystemEventsProperties table.
- Enhanced the MWAgent Client Filter editor dialog. You are now able to drag & drop filters as you want. You can insert Operations or remove them. All over you can now create complex filters much easier.
- MWAgent Client - Eventlog Monitor: Moved some Options to a new dedicated form which can be reached by clicking the Advanced Options button.

- Introduced the "Property Replacer" and enhanced it features. You will find details in the "Property Replacer" part of the manual.
- Added a new general parameter called Queue size limit. This value is a maximum number of internal Queue elements MWAgent can hold. By default this is 0 which means unlimited.
- Removed the Read size limit within the Eventlog Monitor. It is now able to read events with rather any (big) size.
- New Action PostProcess added. This new powerful action allows you to reparse a message before it is processed by other actions. However the action is still not finished and things might change.
- Forward Syslog Action: The message format can now be changed. By default the original message is forwarded.
- Database Action: The message content of the Message field can now be configured.
- Added Filter properties for the Serial Monitor.
- Fixed a bug in the ODBC write which always persisted the NTSeverity as a constant value (4) to the database.
- Fixed minor bugs in the SETP Receiver when reconstruction SNMP Messages.
- Minor stability fixes have been made.

- Added new Service SerialMonitor: This new Service allows you to capture messages from a Serial Com or from the Printer ports. It is highly configurable and can send a Greeting message. The end of a message can be defined (CRLF is default). More details will follow soon in the Online manual.

- Added new Service DBMonitor: In short, this new Service can read a table out of a database and process each data record like other events within MWAgent. More details will follow soon in the Online manual.
- Added new Action PlaySound: This new action can be used to play a wave file once or more often.
- New Options in FileMonitor added:
--- Timemode used for Filename: Configure which timemode will be used to generate the filename (either UTC or localtime)
--- Report on error if File was not found: As the name says, if this setting is enabled, an error will be reported in the Eventlog if the file was not found.
- SendEMail Action: Added "Insert" button for the Subject field in the Configuration Client.
- Minor other stability changes.
