What is the easliest way to move the syslog software to a different server? Is the only way to reinstall? if so, how do you obtain an copy.

This is the easiest way:

- do a registry export (Computer/Export Registry File) on the current machine
- install WinSyslog to the new machine. Do not start it yet.
- import the reg file created above

You are all set.

If you don't have the setup any longer, you can obtain the current version at

http://www.winsyslog.com/en/download/

If that version is different from the one you previously had, you should double-check the imported settings before starting the service. An older registry configuration might not be able to provide all needed config info to a newer version.
